Delhi - Shimla (B) – 8/9 hrs Drive
Drive to Shimla, via stopping at well laid-out Pinjore Gardens near Kalka, Then continue to Shimla, 6900 feet, spread 7 miles along a ridge. Shimla presents substantial evidence of an attempt of the 'sahibs' to build an English town in India. Relics of styles long forgotten in England are still evident here. It is a charming town with an almost palpable British presence manifest in buildings like Christ Church, the neo-Tudor Library Building, the Viceregal lodge, the famous Scandal Point as also the many cottages. St. Michael’s Cathedral located just off the Mall is cruciform in design and had fine stained glass. Check into your hotel for overnight.
Shimla (B)
Morning proceed to Kufri- 16 Kms away from Shimla, which during Winter Months provides ski slopes & is centre for Winter sports. You may enjoy a pony ride here on direct payment to go around the hills to enjoy the view of Himalayan range. Return to Shimla, & visit “Mall Road” (Take the Lift by Paying small costs on own to get to Mall Road), You can take a stroll on the famous Mall Road, the nerve center of the town, a place to watch the people and gossip. The shops along and around the Mall are worth exploring. Apart from the Mall there are plenty of enchanting walks to nearby attractions. Large open spaces in the center of the town present excellent views of the mountain ranges.
Shimla - Manali (B) – 8/9 hrs Drive
Today drive to Manali through beautiful Mountain Roads with fantastic scenery, also drive past the Kulu Valley to get to Manali, the heart of the Kullu Valley, popularly called the Valley of the Gods because of its mind-blowing scenery. Check-into your hotel for overnight.
Manali (B)
Today drive towards Rohtang Pass (Partly by Local Jeeps to reach close to Snow Point), enroute pass the picturesque village of Kothi, which offers views of glaciers and deep gorges through which the Beas flows. Enjoy the nature and the scenic drive. You get to see a lot of Snow & snow capped Mountains during the Winter period. Return back to Manali & evening walk around at “The Mall Road”.
Manali (B)
Today visit Dhoongri Temple, dedicated to the goddess Hadimba. Nearby are the hot-Sulphur springs at Vashisht perched on a steep hill-side below the Temple. Afternoon/evening free to a stroll on the Mall Road, where you can pick-up famous Kullu Shawls and colorful caps. Overnight at your hotel.
Manali-Chandigarh-Delhi (B) > 8 hrs drive + Train Travel
Morning drive to Chandigarh to connect Shatabadi Express Train to New Delhi, Depart Chandigarh at 1823 hrs. Arrive Delhi 2155 hrs. Met & transfer to your hotel for overnight.
